My passion for creating embodied practice and promoting well-being is at the heart of my yoga teaching.
My journey
I attended my first yoga class almost 30 years ago. Coming from a background in dance, I immediately connected to the physical aspects of the practice.
Over the years my practice became something much more, yoga became my way of living. Through it’s teachings, my life was transformed as I discovered a profound sense of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Fueled with a desire to share these teachings, I completed my first 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2009. Since then, I have completed more than 2000 hours of trainings in many different lineages and holistic modalities of healing, learning from some of today’s most renowned teachers from around the world.
As an E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, my own style of teaching is the synthesis of my experience and study. I’ve now been teaching yoga for 17 years, leading yoga teacher trainings for 10 years and facilitating sound healing sessions for 7 years.
My intention as a teacher, sound healer and educator of yoga is to create a space and experience that empowers my students to connect to their own inner wisdom and to learn how to listen to the intelligence of their body to find more healing, peace and vitality.
I am passionate about the ability yoga has to heal and am currently almost four years into a program to become a certified yoga therapist through the Soul of Yoga Institute in Encinitas California.
I will always be a student first.
